The 7 Valleys Run and a 66-kilometer ultra marathon met with recognition from organizers of The North Face® Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc®, and gained the status of qualifiers for this prestigious event’s 2015 edition.
The 7 Valleys Run was included in the second of the four groups of qualifying runs. By covering 100 km in Beskid Sadecki, you will receive 3 points in the UTMB ranking. One will get a similar number of points by taking part in i.e. Translantau 100 in China, 150 Foot Rovaniemi in Finland, 100 Miles of Istria in Croatia 100k or 100k Run Patagonia in Argentina.
The Festival’s ultra marathon was placed in the fourth group - the completion of the race will give 1 point. One can earn a similar number of points by running in i.e.: Marathon Montana Valencia (Mamova) in Spain and Trail des Balcons D'Azur in France.
Most qualifying events for The North Face ® Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc ® 2015 will be held traditionally in France and the USA.
